CCR1997242COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEG0 RESOLUTION #242-97 REPRESENTATION AT LIQUOR LICENSE SUSPENSION RESOLUTION TO RETAIN SPECIAL COUNSEL FOR AND/OR REVOCATION HEARING WHEREAS, A Complaint has been submitted to the Clerk-Treasurer by the Police Chief requesting a hearing to be held before the Common Council as to recent violations at Alpine Lanes of Muskego; and WHEREAS, As the Complainant, the Police Chief cannot be represented by the City Attorney as said attorney will be present to serve as representation for the Common Council; and WHEREAS, Since the Police Chief would be acting within the scope of his employment in testifying at the hearing, an attorney to represent the Police Chief in this matter will need to be hired. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of Muskego does hereby authorize retaining Attorney Timothy Garrity at the rate of $120.00 an hour as special counsel to represent the Police Chief in regards to the proposed suspension and/or revocation hearing to be held regarding the "Class B" Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License held by Alpine Lanes of Muskego, Inc.
