RESOLUTION AS TO ROAD END ACCESS POLICY
Little Muskego Lake
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Board recommended establishing
a daily launch fee of $5 at the following lake access parcels:
Hillview Drive Road End (Parcel #7), Oak Ct. Road End (Parcel
#9), and Pleasant View Drive Road End (Parcel #15); and
WHEREAS, Resolution #129-96, "Establishing Launch Fees at Lake
Accesses" was reviewed by the Common Council for several months
and deferred on August 27, 1996 for continued discussion and the
formation of a committee to study the issue; and
WHEREAS, the Little Muskego Park Access and Lake Policies
Committee has met and explored the options for these access
points, along with input from residents; and
WHEREAS, the options, as discussed, were
1. Open accesses - with no pay boxes
2. Open accesses - with pay boxes 3. Closed accesses to trailer launching
and the Committee has recommended to close all three road ends to
trailer launching.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Little Muskego
Lake Park Access and Lake Policies Committee, does hereby close
all three road ends (Hillview Drive, Oak Court and Pleasant View
Drive) to trailer launching; said accesses will remain open for
public and fire access.

LI'ITLE MUSKEGO LAKE PARK ACCESS AND LAKE POLICIES COMMITTEE
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD THURSDAY, MARCH 20, 1997
The meeting was called to order.at 6:40 P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Present were committee members Ald. Pionek, Ken
Fries (Little Muskego Lake Association), Howard Schneider (Parks
& Recreation Board representative), Mayor David L. De Angelis
and those per the attached list. Ald. D'Acquisto and Paul
Roppuld (Little Muskego Lake District) were absent and Dale
Reimer (Hillside Association) arrived at 7:OO P.M.
March 4, 1997.
The committee noted that the meeting was posted on Tuesday,
meeting. Seconded by Howard Schneider. Howard Schneider asked
Ken Fries moved to approve the minutes of the February 20, 1997
page 1 be changed to read: "Tom Blotz added that to eliminate
that the last sentence in the third paragraph from the bottom of
any access lot today would require a new access lot being
installed to replace it". The committee agreed this would be a
clearer meaning to the reader. The minutes were approved, as
amended, 4-0.
The committee then listed pros & cons for:
Open - No Pay Boxes
Open - With Pay Boxes . Closed to Trailer Launching

Dale Reimer made a motion to consider Hillview Road End
Fries. Discussion: Howard Schneider said all three are
separately from the other two road ends. Seconded by Ken
city-owned and in fairness all three should be considered
equally. Ald. Pionek agreed. Motion failed 4-1 with Dale
Reimer casting the only affirmative vote.
Before a recommendation vote was taken, Ald. Pionek placed a

As a result of the above voting, Open-No Pay Boxes was
eliminated.
The committee then voted by initialed ballots to choose one of
the two remaining. The results were:

The committee's recommendation to the Common Council will be to
