RESOLUTION #50-97
APPROVAL OF PRELIMINARY PLAT
Park Estates
WHEREAS, a Preliminary Plat for Park Estates proposed to
create 24 single-family and five duplex lots in the SE 1/4 of the
NE 1/4 and the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 18 was submitted
on December 23, 1996; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has recommended approval of the
Preliminary Plat subject to the conditions outlined in Resolution
#P.C. 14-97.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Plan Commission,
does hereby approve the Preliminary Plat of Park Estates proposed
to create 24 single-family and five duplex lots in the SE 1/4 of
the NE 1/4 and the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 18 subject to
the conditions outlined in Resolution #P.C. 14-97.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this approval is subject to receipt
of the submittal fee and favorable reports from all approving
and objecting agencies and completion of the rezoning
conceptually approved by Resolution t51-97 prior to the approval
of the final plat.

Thank you for your time in coordinating the meeting with the residents of
Kimberly Estates. Your explanation of the Pasadena Drive being on the
the official road map and pointing out the dedications on four of the owners
land for that street that were made, some as long as 27 years ago, was
informative. You also stated that Pasadena Drive will also extend to the
North and will eventually connect to Gaffney Estates.
The following items were offered to those residents of Kimberly Estates
by us, as agents for the owners, to assure a quality development were: 0
1) a 2,000 square foot ranch minimum
2) a 2,200 square foot 2-story minimum
3) natural materials on the street side of homes
4) composition shake shingles
5) no outside storage
6) no second garage structures
7) no fences except for pools
8) hard surface drives and finish landscaping within 1 year
of occupancy
9) an Architectural Committee will be established for all
plan approvals
IO) establish an advertising budget for the townhouse lots
to encourage a condo project
11) require square footage of at least 1,400 for each unit plus all
townhouse lots will require Planning Commission and
Architectural Committee approval.
We hope we were able to address some of there concerns and we thank you
again for your time and effort.
