RESOLUTION #231-96
AUTHORIZING CANCELLATION OF CERTAIN
UNCOLLECTIBLE ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE
(Rescue)
WHEREAS, there are certain uncollectible accounts for monies
due the City as a result of providing rescue service; and
WHEREAS, certain accounts are uncollectible due to no assets,
inability to locate, deceased, or no estate; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended cancelling the
balances due in the amount of $7,640.84 for 1994 rescue bills.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby authorize the Clerk-Treasurer to cancel
the uncollectible amount of $7,640.84 due the City resulting
from rescue services provided to persons from whom the
collection agency has been unable to collect.
