RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH A DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE POLICY
WHEREAS, the City of Muskego wishes to establish a Drug-Free
Workplace Policy for all of its employees; and
WHEREAS, said Policy has been reviewed by the Finance Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council, upon the
recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby establish a
Drug-Free Workplace Policy for City of Muskego employees, as
attached.

The City of Muskego has a responsibility to provide a healthy,
safe and productive environment for City employees, citizens
doing business with the City, and visitors. The City recognizes
that the use and abuse of alcohol and drugs are major problems

In order to protect the health, safety and welfare of its
employees, and that of the residents of the City of Muskego, the
City requires that all employees report to work free of drugs,
intoxicants, alcohol, narcotics or any other controlled
substance. The City further prohibits the unlawful manufacture,
distribution, dispensation, possession or use of controlled
substances, alcohol or drug paraphernalia by employees (1) while
vehicle/equipment, or (3) while on duty.

employees must notify the City, in writing, of any criminal drug
statute conviction for a violation occurring in the workplace no
