AUTHORIZE EXECUTION OF THE 1993-1995 LABOR AGREEMENT
City Hall/Library Unit
BETWEEN LOCAL 2414 AFSCME AND THE CITY OF MUSKEGO
WHEREAS, a settlement has been reached between the negotiators
Library Unit of Local 2414, AFSCME; and
for the City of Muskego and the negotiators for the City Hall/
WHEREAS, the members of the City Hall/Library Unit of Local
2414, AFSCME have ratified the agreement; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute
the settlement agreement as attached between the City Hall/
Library Unit of Local 2414, AFSCME, and the City of Muskego for
the period of January 1, 1993 through December 31, 1995.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby
authorized to sign the amended labor agreement for 1993-1995.

Article I1 - Recognition
Section 2.01. The City hereby recognizes the Union as the
exclusive bargaining agent for all regular full-time and all
regular part-time clerical employees of the Muskego City Hall
and Muskego Public Library, excluding professional employees,
supervisory employees, and elected officials for the purpose of
all other conditions of employment as certified by the
collective bargaining on matters concerning wages, hours, and
Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission, Decision No. 11644,
and as amended by Case No. 451'01 ME-469, Decision No. 11644-B.

Article XXVIII - Termination or Amendment of Agreement
Section 28.04. This Agreement shall be effective as of January
1, 1993, and shall remain in full force and effect up to and
including December 31, 1995.

Article IV - Retirement Program
Section 4:Ol. The present retirement program shall be
continued during the life of this Agreement. The Employer
shall contribute eighty-three (830) cents per hour effective
January 1, 1993. Effective January 1, 1994, the Employer shall
contribute eighty-seven (870) cents per hour. Effective
January 1, 1995, the Employer shall contribute ninety-one (910)
cents per hour. The Employer agrees to pay the employee's cost
of administering the plan. Participation by employees in this
program shall include part-time employees otherwise eligible
made on their behalf for each hour actually worked.

Part-Time Salary Proqression
Part-time employees shall progress along on the salary schedule
as follows: For employees regularly assigned to 30 hours or
less a week, they shall reach the 6-month step after 9 months
of employment and the 18-month step after 24 months of
employment. Employees regularly assigned to more than 30 hours
per week shall progress pursuant to the full-time schedule.
