RESOLUTION #17-9 1
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THE 1991 LABOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE EMPLOYEES OF THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPAKTMENT AND
THE CITY OF MUSKEGO
WHEREAS, a settlement has been reached between the negotiators
the Public Works Department, and
for the City of Muskego and the negotiators for the employees of
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has reviewed the agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby authorize the Mayor and Clerk to
execute the settlement agreement (as attached) between the
Employees of the Public Works Department and the City of Muskego for the period of January 1, 1991 through December 31, 1991.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute the amended labor agreement.

1991 PUBLIC WORKS SETTLEMENT
ONE YEAR CONTRACT
ARTICLE V, WAGE AND BENEFITS
5.01 Salary Increase of 4%.
Mechanic will receive an additional 5$ per
hour, after 4% increase, as compensation
for classification and providing of tools.
ARTICLE IV, RETIREMENT PROGRAM
4.01 Increase the City's contribution of the employee's
earnings to retirement program to 6.5%.
ARTICLE XII, LEAVE OF ABSENCE
12.04 Amended to add: No benefits shall accrue during
periods of unpaid leaves of absence.
ARTICLE XV, SICK LEAVE
15.02 Amended to add: Up to three (3) sick days per year may be taken by an employee in the
member. Family member shall be defined as a
event of an injury or illness to a family
home.

17.02 Employee to pay the cost of health insurance over

17.03 Life insurance coverage shall be provided each
employee and paid for by the Employer as follows:
Before age 65 $21,000
Ages 65-69 $12,600
Age 70 and Over $ 8,400
17.07 Add: Employees will be enrolled in the Life
Insurance program upon satisfactory completion

ARTICLE VIII, CALL-IN TIME
8.02 Amend to read: In regard to beeper carrying, the
Sewer Treatment Plant Operator will resume the
first priority of the duty, and the City will

ARTICLE XVI I I, SAFETY EQUIPMENT
18.02 Amend first sentence to read: All members of the
Public Works Department shall be provided one pair
after approval by the Superintendent of Public
