1989-90 SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT

ARTICLE 11, MANAGEMENT RIGHTS
2.01 Add :

ARTICLE XVII, INSURANCE
17.01 The Employer shall provide a minimum of a
traditional type insurance and at least one HMO
during the term of this agreement.

17.02 The Employer agrees to pay up to $102.19 for a
single plan and $265.70 for a family plan in 1989
on behalf of full-time employees. In 1990, the
Employer agrees to pay up to the lowest cost
insurance plan offering identical coverage. In
both 1989 and 1990, any difference between the
amount funded by the City and the cost of the
insurance plan selected shall be paid by the
employee by payroll deduction.
17.03 Clarify contract language to coordinate with Life
Insurance Policy.

ARTICLE XVIII, SAFETY EQUIPMENT
18.04 All members of the Public Works Department shall
be provided with work gloves as needed.
ARTICLE XXVII, TERMINATION OR AMENDMENT OF AGREEMENT
27.04 This agreement shall be effective as of January 1,
1989 and shall remain in full force and effect up
to and including December 31, 1990.
