APPROVAL OF 1987 LABOR AGREEMENT
(TELECOMMUNICATOR UNIT)
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the
settlement of the 1987 labor agreement between the City of
Muskego and Local #2414 (Telecommunicator Unit) be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby approve the proposed 1987 labor

SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT
This Agreement is made and entered into this - day of
, 1987, by and between the City of Muskego and the
Muskego Area Public Employees Local 2414 Affiliated With District
Counci5 No. LO of the American Federation of State, County and
Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO (Police Telecomunicator Unit).
In settlement of the contract negotiations for a successor
Contract to the Agreement which expired on December 31, 1986, the
parties have reached a tentative agreement to amend the prior
Contract as follows:
1. Duration: One (1) year Contract effective Janu-
ary 1, 1987, expiring December 31, 1987.
2. Waqes:
a) Effective January 1, 1987, a general wage
increase of four percent (LX) on all rates
and classifications.
b) Effective January 1, 1987, as a result of
the settlement of the insurance issue, a
one-half percent (1/2%) increase on all
rates and classifications and on July 1,
1987. all classifications will be raised one
hundred dollars (SlOO.00) on an annual basis
(five cents tS.051 per hour).
3. Part-time Employee Benefits: The parties have
agreed that part-time employees employed in the
T;lecorrununicator Unit shali earn- benefits as
follows:
a) Part-time employees shall be paid holiday
pay if they work the holiday;
b) Monthly sick leave and vacation shall be
earned on a prorated basis based upon the

4. The City has provided for a new carrier for the

5. Article XVII - Insurance: Article XVII shall be
amended to reflect the parties agreement con-
cerning providing health insurance coverage for
employees. The terms of the agreement concern-

a) The City agrees to continue to provide HMO
coverage in the same manner as it has in the

7. The parties understand that this tentative
