AMENDED PRELIMINARY RESOLUTION DECLARING INTENT TO EXERCISE
SPECIAL ASSESSMENT POLICE POWERS UNDER 566.60, WISCONSIN
STATUTES, AS TO WATER IMPROVEMENT ASSESSMENT AREA FOR
PROJECT HWY. 24, MERCURY TO LANNON
RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Muskego,
Wisconsin:
1. That this Resolution amends Preliminary Resolution #182-
86 which was passed and approved on 8/26/86.
2. The Common Council hereby declares its intention to
exercise its police power under §66.60, Wisconsin Statutes, to
levy special assessments upon property within the following
described area for special benefits conferred upon such property
by installation of the water improvements in streets abutting the
following property:
For Project HWY. 24, Mercury to Lannon
Water Improvement Assessment Area

3. The Common Council determines that the improvements

IN JANESVILLE ROAD (S.T.H. 24) FROM MERCURY DRIVE
TO LANNON DRIVE AND JANESVILLE COURT I
All that part of the Northwest % of Section 17, the
Southwest % and the Southeast % of Section 9 and the
Northwest i of Section 16, Town 5 North, Range 20 East,
City of Muskego, Waukesha County, Wisconsin, bounded and
described as follows:
All those properties that abut the right-of-way of Janesville
Road (S.T.H. 24) commencing at the intersection of
centerlines of Mercury Drive and Janesville Road (S.T.H. 24):
thence Northeasterly along the centerline of Janesville Road
Road (S.T.H. 24) and Lannon Drive: said intersection of
(S.T.H. 24) to the intersection of centerlines of Janesville
