CCR1985257RESOLUTION 11257-85 (As Amended) CITY HALL/LIBRARY ADDITION AWARDING OF BIDS (Carpeting-Tile) WHEREAS, on July 9, 1985, the Council awarded the bid for the Composition Floor Covering in the amount of $3,913.00 and Carpeting in the amount of $12,335.00 for the City Hall/Library addition in Reso.11155-85 to Schumann Carpet Service, and on July 23, 1985 accepted their alternate bid of $1,099 for carpeting for the city hall, for a total of $17,347.00, and WHEREAS, the architect has advised that Schumann Carpet Service has refused to perform the work as bid, and WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the second awarded the bid. low bidder for the Composition Floor Covering and Carpeting be NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby award the following bids to the second low bidders: Composition Floor Covering The Floor Shop eRuffalo $ 4,590.00 12,573.00 Carpeting (Alternate-City Hall) Rouse ot Ruffalo 1,213.00 , 376 -00 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to sign the necessary legal documents in the name of the City. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney is directed to take the necessary action to recover the bid bond submitted by Schumann Carpet Service. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the funds for the original total bid rice of $17,347.00 shall be from TID #7, and the difference of 1,029.00 to come from the City Hall/Library Addition Contingency !
