APPROVAL OF CONTRACT BETWEEN WAUKESHA COUNTY
DEPARTMENT OF AGING AND CITY OF MUSKEGO
WHEREAS, the Waukesha County Department of Aging has been using
the Denoon Senior Center as a location to provide food services
to the elderly, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that an agreement between the City of
Muskego and the Waukesha County Department of Aging be
executed, and
WHEREAS, the City's lease with the School District for the
Denoon School will expire in June, 1985 and the status of that
center has not yet been determined.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute
an agreement between the City and Waukesha County Department of
Aging for a nutrition program being conducted at the Denoon
Senior Center for the period of January 1 thru December 31,
1985.

In consideration of the mutual covenants herein, Waukesha County De.partment
of Aging, State of Wisconsin, hereinafter knwm as the "Program," having offices'
at 25042 W. Northview Road, Waukesha, WI 53186 and Denoon Senior Center
, locited at 6f185 S9912 Racine Ave.
Muskego , Wisconsj.n, 53150 , hereinafter known as
the "Facility," agree as follows:
1. The Facility shall provide:
a. Use of the dining and serving area for service of meals on
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:30 a.m. to -
1:30 p.m. for elderly participants.
h. Payment of utility charges. -
c. Storage facilities for equipment and utensils.
d. Tables, chairs, and use of kitchen facilities.
2. The Program shall provide:

Meals which shall he delivered and shall contain 1/3 minimum Zaily
requirements for an adult.
Recruiting, training and scheduling of volunteers who shall be res-
ponsible for hosting, serving, cleanup, record keeping, etc. 2nd
shall follow health and sanitation procedures. Also. set up tables
for chairs and place hack in storage area as needed.
Planning and coordination of various social and recreational activi-
ties following meal service as agreed. with the approval of the
Facility.

' 3. The Facility and the Program shall agree as follows:
a. Meal service shall be open to all residents of the United States
60 years of age or older.
b. Various rules and regulations rflgarding walk-ins may be established
as necessary by the Facility in cooperation with the Program.
c. The parties hereto shall each maintain adeqGate liability insurance
coverage regarding the operation of the program. A certificate of
said coverage shall be provided on demand.
4. Miscellanous terms:
Program will give 24 hour notice for any activities scheduled
after the designated hours
5. This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Facility
and the Program.
0 6. This agreement shall be effective as of January 1 , 19 __ a5
and ending December 31 , 1985. However, either party xay
at anytime during the life of the agreement terminate this agreement by
giving thirty days notice to the other party of the intention to do so.
