APPROVAL OF 1984 LABOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN
CITY AND LOCAL 82414

WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the
settlement of the 1984 labor agreement between the City and Local
/I2414 (City Hall/Library Unit) be approved.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, does hereby approve the proposed 1984 labor agreement
between the City and Local #2414 (City Hall/Library Unit) as
attached.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of said agreement
shall be January 1, 1984.

1. Amend Section 6.01 to read: "Employees shall be paid bi-
weekly on an hourly basis ."
2. Amend Section 7.01 to include: "The hours of work for City
Hall employees shall be from 8:OO a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
3. Amend Section 11.02 to include step-parents, step-brothers
and step-sisters in the definition of immediate family.
4. The position of Receptionist-Typist Clerk (currently held
by Jan Hughes) shall be reclassified from Level I to Level
11.
5. Change the first sentence of Section 4.01 to state: "The
present retirement plan shall be continued during the life
of this Agreement. The Employer shall contribute fifty-
seven cents (57t) per hour. and the cost of the
administrative fees for the retirement plan shall be
averaged among all participants in the Police
Telecommunicator Unit and the City Hall and Library Unit
and the flat rate shall be assessed each participant."
6. Wages: All rates in Appendix "A" shall be increased by
four and one-half percent (4.5%), effective January 1, 1984.
7. Amend 15.10 to state that accumulated sick days may be
paid to a total of one hundred twenty (120) days.
8. Change the time period covered by a paycheck: For each

Vacation allowance shall be taken during the vacation year, ~
