AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN
RICHARD SCHAUMBERG AND MUSKEG0 PARKS AND RECREATION
BOARD
BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego,
upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby
approve of the attached lease agreement between Richard Schaumberg
and the City of Muskego Parks and Recreation Board.

LEASE
THIS AGREEMENT is made between the City of Muskego, Pari; Recrtacicln Ezarc, Lescsr, znc ;:ichzrcl Schzmjerg, ~e-sc:e:
The property which is the subject of this lease is

Freedom Square - Phase IV
RENTAL: The rent21 for said property shall be the
sum of s180.00 for a term of one ye2r, commencing on the 1st day of
June, 198l', 2nd ending the 31st dag of Nay, 1982.
PURPOSE OF LEASE: The Lessor leases the premises and
the Lessee aErees to use the premises for the grazing and
pzsturing of horses owned by the LeEsee, but never shall the nu3be.r
of horses on the leased premises be more than four (4) at any
one time. The 1,zssee shall also use the premises for the purpose
of recreation connected with the horses znd for himself and family
and guests and shell never use the premises or the horses for
commerci21 purpases on the premises.
4 COhTITIONS: Lessee shall prior to the use of the
,~renises as above described md stated, erect fences, the
material 2nd cype of whi~ch shall be appraved by the Lessor and
which shall be sufficient to keep the horses within the confines
of said fences. Any getes provided to the premises shall be secured
by locks and Lessee shell be responsible for the maintenance and
repair of said fences at all times. Any fences or other equipment
used by the Lessee during the term of the lease or a renewal thereof
shall at the option of the city be removed by him at the expiration
thereof.
LIABILITY INSURANCE: Lessee, shall, at his om
expense, at all ti.mes during the tern of this lease, maintzin In
force a policy or policies of insurance, written by one or more
responsibpJe insurance carriers, which will insure Lessor against
liability for injury to or death of persons or loss or damage to
property occufling in or about the demised premises. The li?bility
under such insurance shall not be less than $100,000 for any one
rterson killed or injured, $200,000 for any one accident and I 8j0,ooo property damage.
ASSIGIWENT: This lease shall not be assigned by the
Lessee without the express written consent of the Park Board.
REKEVAL: This lease is not subject to automatic
renewal, but may be renewed by the Park Board with the spproval of
the Corrcnon Council on an annual basis upon such terms and
conditions BS the parties may ;?gree to.
