APPROVAL OF LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN MUSKEGO/
NORWAY SCHOOLS AND THE CITY FOR USE OF DENOON
SCHOOL AS A SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER
BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee,
does hereby approve of the attached lease agreement between
Muskego-Norway Consolidated Joint School District No. 9 and
the City of Muskego.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if deemed necessary the
City will provide additional gravel parking area, with per-
mission of the school board.

THIS AGREEMEKT OF LEASE is between MUSKEGO-NORWAY
CONSOLIDATED JOINT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 9 as Lessor and
CITY OF MUSKEGO, a municipal corporatioll, as Lessee. c The demised property is described as follows:
Land and building known as "DENOON
SCHOOL" located at Highway "Y"
(Racine Ave.) and Parker Dr. in
k of the Southeast 2 of Section 29,
said City, being in the Northwest
Waukesha County, Wisconsin.
Town 5 North, Range 20 East,
The consideration for this agreement is .One Dollar
and Other Good and Valuable Consideration, 'the receipt
whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged by Lessor from
Lessee. i
The term hereof shall be for five years commencing
June 15, 1980 and ending June 14, 1985. That either party
shall have the right to terminate this lease at any time
upon 90 days prior written notice to the other party.
Lessee shall be liable for maintenance and minor
repairs to the premises. Any necessary replacements and
major repairs shall be at the expense of Lessor. If Lessor
fails to take care of any replacements or major repairs
after ten (10) days written notice, delivered to Lessor
personally or mailed by Certified Flail, Lessee may declare
the lease terminated and vacate the premises without any
further liability for the rent set forth in this lease.
It is further understood and agreed that the -8 Lessee shall pay and be responsible for any and all heat,
light, telephone, water and other services used by it
during the term of the written lease, which are incidental
to the occupancy of said premises.
The Lessor shall not be liable for any damage done
or occasioned by plumbing, electric wiring, gas, water,
steam or other pipes or sewage or the bursting or leaking
thereof, nor for damages occasioned by water, snow or ice
being upon or coming through the roof, doors or other parts
of the premises.
