AUTHORIZING THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO INSTALL
A NEW RADIO TOWER
WHEREAS, the city has been experiencing difficulty with
moved moved into its new building, and
their communication system since the police department
WHEREAS, these difficulties have created serious problems
and public works, and
for the fire departments, rescue squads, police department
WHEREAS, it has been determined that in order to correct
the problem a new tower with a height of 120' must be
constructed and the radio equipment must be moved to a
different location in the police building, and e WHEREAS, it has been estimated that the cost of the new tower, etc. would be approximately $8,662.00, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended to the Common
Council that they authorize the replacement of the present
tower and that the needed funds be taken from the Unappropriated
Surplus of the Capital'Budget after transferring to the Police
Department Capital Budget (Police Building),
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Comittee,
does hereby authorize the Chief of Police to have a new tower
installed and all radio equipment moved at a cost not to exceed
$9.000.00 . I
