APPROVAL OF FINAL REPORT AND AWARD OF CONTRACT
e WHEREAS, by Resolution #138-72 adopted July 11, 1972, this
Common Council authorized publication of and Advertisement of Bids
for construction and installation of public improvements to serve
Instructions to Bidders, Proposal and Specimen Contract for use
Durham Meadows Subdivision, and the distribution of forms of
City Clerk caused to be published in the Muskego-Lakeland Hub,
in connection therewith, and pursuant to such authorization the
Reporter, on July 20, 1972 and on July 28, 1972 and Advertisement
in formity with Section 62.15 (3), Statutes, and in the Daily
for Bids, stating that sealed bids and proposals for such work
would be received at the City Hall until 4:OO P.M., on August 4,
1972; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to such Advertisement, sealed bids and proposals
were received by the City until 4:OO P.M., on August 4, 1972 and
were opened at such time and on such date by the Mayor, City Clerk
and City Engineer who recommended acceptance of the bid of Jackson
Park Realty Investment Company for construction of all such public
improvements; and
WHEREAS, after public hearing on the proposed work and special assess-
ments of benefits therefrom, it is determined that the City shall
proceed with the work:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the report pursuant to
work and the assessment of benefits to be levied against
Section 66.60 (3), Statutes, as to the total cost of the
each lot and parcel of property annexed hereto as Exhibit A
is hereby approved and adopted, so that the total cost of the
work and total amount assessed for each improvement shall
correspond to the amounts of the aforementioned bid of ~~~k~~~
Park Investment Company,
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City hereby accepts the proposal
of Jackson Park Realty Investment Company for the construction
and completion of the aforementioned public improvements for
the total bid price of $118,270.95 and the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to enter into, on behalf of
the City, a contract with such bidder in the form of the
Specimen Contract heretofore approved by the City Attorney and
City Engineer and Engineering Consultant and distributed to
the prospective bidders.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that payment of the entire cost of such work
be made by means of special assessments against the property
benefited thereby, by delivery to the Contractor of cash from
the proceeds of sale of Special Assessments B Bonds to be issued
by the City pursuant to Section 66.54 (10, Statutes.
