CCR1971168RESOLUTION 8168-71 PROVIDING FOR AN ADVISORY REFERENDUM FOR ADDITIONAL MONEY FOR CITYfHALL~LIBRARY WHEREAS, an advisory referendum was held on April 6, 1971, to determine the will of the people in regard to the question of whether or not the City should build a City Hall/Library, and WHEREAS, the referendum indicated that the costs would not exceed $200,000.00, and WHEREAS, the cost of the building with an additional 12 feet added for Library space will cost approximately $244,000.00, and WHEREAS, the continued confidence of the citizens of the community dictates that another referendum be held to authorize the expenditure of an additional $44,000.00, and WHEREAS, such a referendum could be held within 30 days, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cmon Council of the City of Muskego does hereby declare its intent to hold a referendum to determine the will of the people regarding the question of spending the additional $50,000.00 needed to assure the construction of a City HallfLibrary. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the referendum question shall read as follows: e Should the City of Muskego spend the additional $50,000.00 needed to construct a City Hall/Library? Jerome J.
