AUTHORIZING DEFERRED ADSESSMENT ON THE
FRED FARNSWORTH SEWER INSTALLATIONS IN
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT F-6
WHEREAS, the Common Council has levied a special sewer
,ent against the property known as the Fred Farnsworth
property located in Assessment District No. F-6, and more partic-
ularly identified on the Assessment Roll as No. 588 and on the
City Tax Roll by Key No. 2174.989, and
WHEREAS, the property assessed is farm land and no use
of the sewer will apparently be made, but the owners thereof are
considering the further development of said property, and
WHEREAS, the owners of the property have, in consider-
ationof the following Deferred Assessment Resolution, agreed to
give to the City of Muskego, without cost, an easement across
their property for the construction and maintenance of the fore-
going sewer, and other sewer mains in the area; and
WHEREAS, Section 66.605 Statutes provides as follows:
"Notwithstanding any other statute, the due date
of any special assessment levied against property
abutting on or benefited by a public improvement,
may be deferred on such terms and in such manner
as prescribed by its governing body while no use
of the improvement is made in connection with the
property except in cities of the first class, the
deferment shall extend only while the property
remains unplatted and is used by the owner for
farming or agricultural purposes. Such special
assessment must be paid within ten years of the
date of the resolution making the levy, unless
provision is made to pay the assessment by install-
mentsin which case the assessment shall be paid
within the time prescribed. Any such special
assessment shall be a lien against the property
from the date of the levy."
WHEREAS, the owners have requested the approval of the
Common Council of a deferred assessment with respect to said
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council
of the City of Muskego does hereby determine that payment of the
assessment made against the Fred Farnsworth property as appears
as Assessment No. 588 in Assessment District No. F-6; said property
being further identified on the City Tax Rolls under Key No.
2174.989 shall be deferred as follows: Until such time as
use of the improvement is made or until the expiration of ten
years from the date of the final resolution making the levy as
finally amended or confirmed by the Common Council.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said assessment shall not
bear any interest until the happening of either of the foregoing 9 events at which time interest at the rate of eight (8%) per cent
per annum shall begin to accrue. e BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the provisions of this
resolution shall be incorporated into the final assessment
resolution as amended or confirmed by the Common Council.
