GRANTING THE REQUEST FOR COMPLETION OF FEASIBILITY
STUDY OF LITTLE MUSKEG0 LAKE
WHEREAS the Little Muskego Lake Committee, an official committee of
the Common Council has completed Phase I of the project known as the
Little Muskego Lake Project, and
WHEREAS phases 2, 3, and 4 comprised of sounding of the lake and
preparing formal application are necessary if Federal or State funds
are to be received to aid this project, and
WHEREAS it is possible that at least 50 per cent and perhaps more
Federal funds would be available if Muskego would qualify for a
demonstration project, and
WHEREAS State and Federal agencies have indicated a keen interest in
the proposals thus far submitted but desire additional information,
particularly soundings of the lake, and
WHEREAS the Little Muskego Lake Committee has advised that the cost of
completing the three phases would not exceed $4,000.00 and request
that the Common Council authorize this expenditure,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego
does hereby authorize the Finance Committee to enter into an agreement
(approved by the City Attorney) between the City of Muskego and Mr.
Casey Kendziorski whereby Mr. Kendziorski agrees to the following:
1. Appear before the necessary State and Federal Agencies to win
their support for the project.
2. To negotiate in the name of the City with the Department of
Resource Development to permit larger sounding increments.
