GRANTING PERMISSION TO MELVIN WRIGHT TO CONDUCT A SNOWMOBILE DERBY
BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego does
hereby grant to Melvin Wright of the City of Muskego, the right to
18th and 19th days of February, 1967, between the hours of 11:OO A.M.,
and 5:30 P.M., provided that he complies with the following conditions
prior to Friday, February 17, 1967 at 5:OO P.M.
I) promote a snowmobile derby or contest on Big Muskego Lake on the

That he file with the City Clerk a policy of public
liability insurance having limits of $lOO,OOO.OO for
personal injury to any one person and $500,000.00 limits
for more than one person, duly executed by an insurance
company duly licensed to do business in the State of Wis.,
with the City of Muskego as an additional named insured,
and in a form approved in writing by the City Attorney.
That he file with the City Clerk, either the sum of
$2,000.00 in cash, or a bond in that amount guaranteed
by a bonding company licensed by the State of Wisconsin,
guaranteeing that all rubbish, debris and other similar
material discarded or left by spectators, contestants
or others in the area of the said contest or in the
general neighboring area thereof shall be cleaned up
and disposed of by 1O:OO A.M., on Feb. 21, 1967, to the
satisfaction of the City Building Inspector, who is
directed to use reasonable judgment in making his deter-
mination on the basis of good housekeeping. Said cash
or bond is also subject to insuring that the City be
reimbursed for any expense it may have in cleaning the
general area of said contest in the event the licensee does
not fulfill his obligation. If a bond is furnished the
same is to be in a form approved in writing, before filing,
by the City Attorney.
That he furnish to the City Clerk a writing by the Sheriff
of this County that arrangements have been made with him
to provide for at least 4 special deputy sheriffs at all
times to police the area of the derby or contest for a
period from 9:00 A.M., to 7:OO P.M., on each day for
which this license is granted.
That he pay a special license fee of $20.00 to the City
cover the cost of compliance inspection required by this
Clerk, said fee being determined a reasonable amount to
resolution-permit.
