COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
RESOLUTION #136-2009
APPROVAL OF EXPENDITURE TO REPLACE
LIGHTING AT THE D.P.W./UTILITIES GARAGE AND THE
POLICE DEPARTMENT GARAGE
WHEREAS, A recent energy audit revealed that the City could realize an annual
savings of $6,000 by replacing lighting fixtures at the D.P.W./Utilities Garage and
Police Department Garage; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor has obtained proposals from electricians to replace the lighting
fixtures; and
WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has reviewed the project and has recommended
approval of an expenditure not to exceed $20,524 to replace the fixtures; and
WHEREAS, The money can be taken from Unexpended Capital Funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby approve
the expenditure to replace lighting at the D.P.W./Utilities and Police Department
Garages at a cost not to exceed $20,524.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That Mayor is authorized to sign the necessary
paperwork in the name of the City.
