ESTABLISHING SALARIES FOR
CERTAIN ELECTED OFFICIALS
The Common Council of the City of Muskego. Waukesha, Wisconsin, do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Biweekly salaries are established for the following elected officials for the 2002-
2004 term:
Aldermen- Districts 1, 3, and 5 $293.79
Municipal Judge $423.08
SECTION 2: The Council president shall continue to receive an additional $23.08 on a
biweekly basis.
SECTION 3: The following biweekly salaries are established for the office of Mayor for the
2002-2005 term:
$2,176.92 effective April, 2002
$2,330.77 effective January 1, 2003
$2,484.62 effective January 1, 2004
SECTION 4: Health insurance and life insurance benefits for the Mayor shall continue to be
provided on the same basis as provided for nonrepresented employees, as well as WRS
pension benefits for elected officials.
SECTION 5: The several sections of this ordinance are declared to be severable. If any
section or portion thereof shall be declared by a decision of a court of competent jurisdiction to
be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, such decision shall apply only to the specific section or
portion thereof directly specified in the decision, and not affect the validity of all other
provisions, sections, or portion thereof of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and
effect. Any other ordinance whose terms are in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are
hereby repealed as to those terms that conflict.
SECTION 6 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
publication.
