ORD1993811COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 32, ORDINANCE #E11 SECTIONS 32.02(15) AND 32.03(7) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF MUSKEGO FIRE PREVENTION CODE ORDINANCE (Fees for Signage and Knox Boxes) THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MUSKEGO, WISCONSIN, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS : SECTION 1: Chapter 32, Section 32.02(15)(a) of the Fire Prevention Code of the City of Muskego is hereby repealed and recreated to read as follows: (15) REQUIRED SIGNAGE: (a) Occupancies other than Chapter 59 which are more in width, shall purchase one (1) sign for each constructed with an overhead garage door of 6 ft. or overhead door. The required sign(s) will state that there will be no parking of unattended vehicles in the building. (b) Location: The required sign(s) shall be posted within 10 ft. of the overhead door at a height of 5 ft. (c) Fees: The sign(s) shall be purchased from the Building Inspection Department, for a fee as from time to time established by Resolution of the Common Council and shall be paid for at time of building permit issuance. SECTION 2: Chapter 32, Section 32.03(7)(d) of the Fire Prevention Code of the City of Muskego is hereby created to read as follows: (d) Fees: The knox box(s) shall be purchased from the Building Inspection Department, for a fee as from time to time established by Resolution of the Common Council and shall be paid for at the time of building permit issuance. SECTION 3: The several sections of this ordinance are declared declared by a decision of a court of competent jurisdiction to be to be severable. If any section or portion thereof shall be to the specific section or portion thereof directly specified in invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, such decision shall apply only sections, or portion thereof of the ordinance which shall remain in the decision, and not affect the validity of all other provisions, conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed full force and effect.
