AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 7, SECTION 7.06
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF MUSKEGO
Weight Limitations
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MUSKEGO, WISCONSIN, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Chapter 7, Section 7.06 of the Municipal Code
of the City of Muskego, Wisconsin, is hereby repealed and
recreated as follows:
7.06 WEIGHT LIMITATIONS. (I) Pursuant to Section 349.17(1),
weight of 10,000 pounds or greater may not be operated on any
Wisconsin Statutes, motor vehicles having a combined vehicle load
street or alley in the City except:
(a) On State Trunk Highways;
(b) On County Trunk Highways;
(c) If the vehicle is a motor bus;
(d) If the street has been designated as a heavy traffic

weight does not exceed 16,500 pounds per axle, or Class A
Highway weight limits, whichever is lower;
(9) If the vehicle is an authorized emergency vehicle.
(2) No motor vehicle may be operated on any street or alley
within the City unless it is equipped with pneumatic tires.
SECTION 2: The several sections of this ordinance are
declared to be severable. If any section or portion thereof
shall be declared by a decision of a court of competent
decision shall apply only to the specific section or portion
jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, such
thereof directly specified in the decision, and not affect the
validity of all other provisions, sections, or portion thereof of
the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect. Any
other ordinance whose terms are in conflict with the provisions
