ORD1986554ORDINANCE #554 (As Amended) AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 9 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF MUSKEG0 (Disposal of Abandoned Property) THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MUSKEGO, WAUKESHA COUNTY, WISCONSIN, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: Chapter 9 of the Municipal Code of the City of Muskemy amended to add Section 9.325 entitled "Disposal of Abandoned Property" as follows: 9.325 Disposal of Abandoned Property (1) The City may dispose of any personal property which has been abandoned, or remained unclaimed for a period of 30 officials by any means determined to be in the best interest days after the taking of possession of the property by City manner prescribed by the Common Council or those listed of the City. SECTION 2: The several sections of this ordinance are declared to be severable. If any section or portion thereof shall be declared by a decision of a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, such decision shall apply only to the specific section or portion validity of all other provisions, section, or portion thereof of thereof directly specified in the decision, and not affect the the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect. Any other ordinances whose terms are in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed as to those terms that conflict.
