ORD1972216",.- r \ ,.- ,,- ! ,.;- r , , ORDINANCE #216 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 17 OF 'DIE MUNICIPAL CODE (Re: Swimming Pools) THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MUSKEGO, WISCONSIN, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 6.06 (7) D. of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Muskego is hereby amended to read as follows: D. Pennanent Pools: Permanent Pools shall be completely and adequately screened from the view of abutting property by means of fencing or landscaping. All permanent pool areas, however, shall be completely fenced before the pool is filled. A fence shall not be less than 4 feet nor more than 6 feet in height. Access to the pool area shall be through a gate or gates in the fence, which gates shall be equipped with locks or self-closing, self-latching devices placed on the inside and at the top of the gate. No open holes or gaps larger than 4 inches in diameter or circumference except for doors or gates shall be permitted. No fence shall be located closer than three (3) feet to the edge of the pool. A building may be used as a fence. E. If used at night, the pool shall be adequately lighted but all lighting, including flood lights or other artificial lighting used to illuminate the pool shall be so located and shielded so as not to reflect or shine upon ~djoining premises. 6.06 (7) E is amended to read 6.06 (7) F. SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with or contravening this ordinance are hereby repealed. SECTION I.
