CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Commissioner Mooney at 6:00PM.

Roll call was taken with Commissioners Mooney, Whittow, Kuspa and Jaske present.
Commissioner Glazier was excused. Chief Rens was also in attendance.

Minutes from May 9, 2019..
Commissioner Kuspa made a motion to approve the minutes from the above meeting.
Commissioner Whittow seconded. All in favor.
PUBLIC APPEARANCE
REPORT FROM POLICE DEPARTMENT
Chief Rens advised the building move went well. One of the dispatch consoles was moved the
week prior to the complete move, to make sure things were up and running for the day of the
move. Our 911 calls were transferred to Waukesha County Communications during the move.
The non-emergency lines were only down for approximately 20 minutes. The 911 calls were
down for a bit longer, but all the calls were received by WCC and transferred to our agency via
non-emergency lines. Overall it went well and everything was up and running by 6pm.
There is still some property in the old building but we are waiting for shelving units so we only
have to move everything one time. Everything is fully functional in the new building. Larger
office items will be moved on 08/13/19, by Two Men and a Truck.
The second K9 is moving forward and hopefully all will be in place and the officer selected to
fill the position will be ready to go to training in September.
Officer Michael Rakers retired on Monday, 08/05/19. So we will be looking to fill his position
from the eligibility list.
