Respectfully Submitted, Wendy Fredlund Transcribing Secretary CITY OF MUSKEGO Staff Report to Public Works Committee To: Public Work Committee From: Scott Kroeger, PE, PLS, Public Works and Development Director Subject: Water Tower Paint Colors with Logo - Mercury Drive Date: July 17, 2017 The City of Muskego has given approval for the water tower on Mercury Drive to be painted. In order to be consistent with current colors on the water tower, hide the mold that tends to show up on the underside of the water tower, and the current City of Muskego logo, the plan is to paint the water tower per Attachment A. Given these reasons, I recommend the water tower on Mercury Drive be painted per Attachment A by the City of Muskego Department of Muskego Public Works Department. Recommendation for Action by the Committee: Approve the proposed color scheme with City of Muskego logo for the water tower on Mercury Drive as shown in Attachment A. CITY OF MUSKEGO Staff Report to Public Works Committee To: Public Work Committee From: Adam Trzebiatowski, AICP, Lead Planner Subject: Right-of-Way Vacation Request – Gemini Court Date: July 17, 2017 The City of Muskego has received a request from 4Front Engineered Solutions Inc. to vacate a portion of Gemini Court. This request is being made to facilitate the shifting of the cul-de-sac bulb to create more buildable space for a proposed future addition to the building currently on site. Additional right-of-way is being dedicated as part of a separate CSM to make up for the area proposed to be vacated. The Public Works Committee needs to review this to determine if they would like to seek compensation for the right-of-way being vacated. Historically the City/PW Committee has not requested compensation for these types of right-of-way vacations. Recommendation for Action by the Committee: Allow the right-of-way vacation to proceed without requiring compensation for said land as has been done in past practices.
