CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Chiaverotti called the meeting to order at 5:45 pm.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
ROLL CALL
Present: Alderman Wolfe (arrived at 5:47 pm), Hammel, Kapusta, Engelhardt, Kubacki,
Madden, and Mayor Chiaverotti.
Absent: Alderman Borgman
Also Present: Director Mueller, City Attorney Warchol, Utility Superintendent Kloskowski,
School District Members and Representatives, Graef Engineering and Ruekert & Mielke
Representatives.
STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE
Director Mueller stated that the meeting was properly noticed.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
APPROVAL OF MINUTES - January 24, 2017
Alderman Kubacki motioned to approve January 24, 2017 minutes. Alderman Hammel
seconded motion, minutes approved.
NEW BUSINESS - Muskego Norway School District Requested Discussion
Option 1. Cost sharing for entire investment with (for example) School District
paying 2/3 and City and/or Water Utility pay 1/3. How the City and/or Water Utility fund
their 1/3 contribution is up to the City and/or Water utility to determine.
Option 2. Single point of connection to Tudor Oaks water main with City waiving
requirements for fire hydrants. Dry stack hydrants to be provided in storm water ponds.
District would grant City and/or Water Utility an easement at no cost to allow for future
water main connection to the south.
Option 3a. City provides agreement the School District will not have to connect to
City water if School District successfully pursues a private well through the Department
of Natural Resources.
Option 3b. Private well utilized until which time adequate City water is made available
to the property. The District would agree to connect at that time with ownership of the
private well being transferred to the City for use in municipal water system.
Based on the newly reported water flow numbers presented by the School District and new
report by Ruckert & Mielke, School Board President Rick Petfalski has committed the School
District to paying for 12" water main from Durham Drive to the new middle school.
COW unanimously recommended the School Districts request for the 12" water main from
Durham Drive to the new middle school. City Water Utility will acquire easement needed for
project.

Alderman Kubacki motioned to adjourn. Alderman Madden seconded motion, meeting
adjourned at 7:42 pm.
