CHAIRPERSON'S REPORT
NOTICE OF CLOSED SESSION
The Library Board Personnel Committee of the City of Muskego will meet at
approximately 2:00 pm, or as soon thereafter as time permits, on Monday, January 9,
2017 in the Library Conference Room, Muskego Public Library, S73 W16663 Janesville
Road, Muskego, Wisconsin, following conclusion of consideration of the above portion
of its regularly scheduled agenda, to vote on a motion to convene in closed session at
said time and place for discussion/action relative to:
Discussion/action relative to the 2017 Library Director performance evaluation goals and
to take such further action as may be necessary and appropriate with respect to such
matters. The Library Board Personnel Committee will hold the closed session in the
Library Conference Room at the Library.
A closed session for the above purpose is authorized pursuant to the provisions of Wis.
Stats. Section §19.85(1)(c), which authorizes a governmental body, upon motion duly
made and carried, to meet in closed session to consider employment, promotion,
compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the
governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.
Upon conclusion of the closed session, the Library Board Personnel Committee will
convene in open session to consider its public agenda, including motions to recommend
approval or rejection of the above-listed deliberations or any of the public agenda items
that have not been acted upon.

PLEASE NOTE: It is possible that members of and possibly a quorum of members of other governmental bodies of the municipality
may be in attendance at the above-mentioned meeting to gather information; no action will be taken by any governmental body at
the above-stated meeting other than the governmental body specifically referred to above in this notice.

Chairperson Robertson called the meeting to order at 10:10 am.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
ROLL CALL
Present were Trustees Robertson, Stuart, Darkow, and Library Director Loeffel.
STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE
Director Loeffel stated that the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open meeting law.
PUBLIC COMMENT
APPROVAL OF MINUTES from November 15, 2016
Trustee Robertson made a motion to APPROVE THE MINUTES from November 15, 2016,
Trustee Darkow seconded.
Motion Passed 3 in favor.

NOTICE OF CLOSED SESSION
The Library Board Personnel Committee of the City of Muskego will meet at
approximately 10:00 am, or as soon thereafter as time permits, on Tuesday, December 6,
2016 in the Library Conference Room, Muskego Public Library, S73 W16663 Janesville
Road, Muskego, Wisconsin, following conclusion of consideration of the above portion
of its regularly scheduled agenda, to vote on a motion to convene in closed session at
said time and place for discussion/action relative to:
Discussion/action relative to the preliminary Library Director evaluation and to take such
further action as may be necessary and appropriate with respect to such matters. The
Library Board Personnel Committee will hold the closed session in the Library
Conference Room at the Library.

seconded.

OPEN SESSION
Upon reconvening into open session, Trustee Darkow made a motion to approve the
preliminary Library Director evaluation, Trustee Stuart seconded.
Motion Passed 3 in favor.
Trustee Stuart made a motion to approve the Library Director preliminary merit raise,
Trustee Darkow seconded.
Motion Passed 3 in favor.

ADJOURNMENT
Trustee Darkow made a motion to adjourn at 11:34 am, Trustee Stuart seconded.
Motion Passed 3 in favor.
