CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Chiaverotti called the quarterly meeting to order at 6:50 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioenrs Wolfe, Hammel, Borgman, Kapusta (arrived at 6:53 p.m.),
Engelhardt, Kubacki and Madden. Also present: Deputy Commissioners Kies and Hoeppner,
and Deputy Clerk Blenski.
STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE
The Deputy Clerk stated that the meeting was noticed in accordance with the Open Meeting
Law.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF MEETING - January 26, 2016
Commissioner Borgman made a motion to approve. Commissioner Madden seconded;
motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS
Deputy Commissioners' Update - Current Condition of Lake/Bay, Water Levels, Plant Growth,
Fish and Wildlife
Mr. Kies stated there was a two to three-acre cattail bog blocking Holz Drive. A property
owner in the area is working on the bog to regain access. The lake level is high, which is
normal for spring; Conservation Coordinator Tom Zagar is controlling the dam. Loons on the
lake are passing through. Swans have also been sighted. Mr. Kies noted that he and Mr.
Zagar went to Wausau to accept an award given for the District's cooperation with the
DNR regarding the acquisition and maintenance of the conservation areas around the lake.
Status of Big Muskego Lake Wildlife Area - Land Acquisition by DNR
Nothing new to report.

Commissioner Kubacki moved to adjourn at 6:55 p.m. Commissioner Borgman seconded;
motion carried.
