Unapproved CITY OF MUSKEGO COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MINUTES January 12, 2016 6:40 PM City Hall, W182 S8200 Racine Avenue CALL TO ORDER Mayor Chiaverotti called the meeting to order at 6:45 pm. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE ROLL CALL Present: Ald. Wolfe, Hammel, Borgman, Kapusta, Engelhardt, Kubacki, Madden and Mayor Chiaverotti. Also Present: Deputy Clerk Blenski and Director Simpson. STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE APPROVAL OF AGENDA APPROVAL OF MINUTES - December 14, 2015 Alderman Borgman made a motion to approve December 14, 2015 minutes. Alderman Kubacki seconded. NEW BUSINESS - Review Facilities Public Informational Meeting Feedback Director Simpson distributed comments received during the January 7, 2015 Public Information Meeting. We received six written comments, no phone calls were received. Director Simpson asked if anyone had any changes or feedback to offer. Director Simpson explained that information, renderings and site plans have been put on the website. No floor plans were put up due to the sensitive nature of the Police Department. All Aldermen were present at the Public Meeting. Alderman Kapusta asked if any comments were received. No one reported receiving any comments. Mayor Chiaverotti asked if there are any changes. If there are no changes then the consultants will prepare for the bid process. Director Simpson, the next official action would be going to the Plan Commission. Alderman Kubacki asked at what point do they go to bid? Director Simpson, May or June at the latest. Alderman Wolfe asked, if more spending will be required to go to Plan Commission? Director Simpson, yes. Alderman Kubacki, so the ball is rolling. Director Simpson, confirmed all included in original contract signed with Zimmerman. Scope hasn't changed at all. Alderman Wolfe, inquired if this needed to be placed on another agenda for the Public. Mayor Chiaverotti replied, Council has already approved it (engineered plans). No other requests from COW members. Director Simpson added that Plan Commission will be the next public meeting.
