NOTICE
IT IS POSSIBLE THAT MEMBERS OF AND POSSIBLY A QUORUM OF MEMBERS OF OTHER GOVERNMENTAL BODIES OF
THE MUNICIPALITY MAY BE IN ATTENDANCE AT THE ABOVE-STATED MEETING TO GATHER INFORMATION; NO ACTION
WILL BE TAKEN BY ANY GOVERNMENTAL BODY AT THE ABOVE-STATED MEETING OTHER THAN THE GOVERNMENTAL
BODY SPECIFICALLY REFERRED TO ABOVE IN THIS NOTICE.
ALSO, UPON REASONABLE NOTICE, EFFORTS WILL BE MADE TO ACCOMMODATE THE NEEDS OF DISABLED

BIG MUSKEGO LAKE/BASS BAY PROTECTION AND REHABILITATION DISTRICT
RESOLUTION #BML 001-2015
RESOLUTION TO APPLY FOR AN AQUATIC INVASIVE SPECIES GRANT
WHEREAS, The Lake District is interested in obtaining a cost -share grant from the
Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for the purpose of early detection and
response of aquatic invasive species; and
WHEREAS, The applicant attests to the validity and veracity of the statements and
representations contained in the grant application; and
WHEREAS, A grant agreement is requested to carry out the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Big Muskego Lake/Bass Bay
Protection and Rehabilitation District has budgeted a sum sufficient to fully and
satisfactorily complete the project and hereby authorizes and empowers Chairman
Kathy Chiaverotti to submit the following documents to the Wisconsin Department of
Natural Resources for financial assistance that may be available:
Sign and submit a grant application
Enter into a grant agreement with the DNR
Take necessary action to undertake, direct, and complete the approved
project and bind the applicant
Submit quarterly and/or final reports to the DNR to satisfy the grant agreement,
as appropriate
Submit reimbursement request(s) to the DNR no later than the date specified
in the grant agreement
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That applicant will comply with all local, state and federal
rules, regulations and ordinances relating to this project and the cost-share agreement.
