FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION OR TO REQUEST THIS SERVICE, MUSKEGO CITY HALL, (262) 679-4112. **Unapproved** CITY OF MUSKEGO POLICE & FIRE COMMISSION MEEETING MINUTES Thursday, April 16, 2015 The regular meeting of the City of Muskego Police & Fire Commission was held on Thursday, April 16, 2015, in the conference room of the City of Muskego Police Department. Commissioner Kuwitzky called the meeting to order at 6:00PM. Pledge of Allegiance Roll call was taken with Commissioners Kuwitzky, Mooney, Treba and Whittow present. Chief Moser and Alderman Kubacki were also in attendance. Statement of Public Notice was given to the press and posted on Wednesday April 8, 2015. Commissioner Mooney made a motion to accept the agenda items and Commissioner Treba seconded. Motion carried unanimously. Commissioner Mooney made a motion to approve the minutes from the January 15, 2015 meeting. Commissioner Treba seconded, and the motion carried unanimously. Report from the Police Department: The department currently is down three officer positions Zach Degnar is finishing up the academy and will be meeting with the Chief on 04/28/15, reference one of the open positions. Officers Curran and Patterson are complete with field training and on their own. Officer Nitka is doing well and almost done with field training. Captain Constantineau is currently attending the FBI Academy for ten weeks. Officer Rakers was promoted to the CRO position and will fill that spot as soon as Officer Nitka is off of field training. K9 stats were handed out to the commissioners and the program is doing well with a positive outlook. The K9 program is continuing with fundraising efforts and has started a Facebook page to help promote clothing and items to continue to raise funds. Commissioner Treba requested the department provide the commission with crime stats from the last three years. Chief Moser will get the stats out to the commissioners for the next meeting. Old Business: Hiring Process for Police Chief. Chief Moser obtained information from eight departments to be reviewed. The commission decided they would review the documents and discuss them at the next meeting. Commissioner Mooney made a motion to table this item to the next meeting. Commissioner Whittow seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The next regular meeting will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015, at 6:00PM. Commissioner Mooney made a motion to adjourn and Commissioner Whittow seconded.
