Packet Page 1 Unapproved CITY OF MUSKEGO BIG MUSKEGO LAKE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MINUTES JANUARY 22, 2019 5:55 PM Muskego City Hall, W182 S8200 Racine Avenue CALL TO ORDER Chairman Chiaverotti called the quarterly meeting to order at 5:55 p.m. ROLL CALL Present: Commissioners Wolfe, Hammel, Borgman, Kapusta, Engelhardt, Kubacki and Madden. Also present: Conservation Coordinator/City Forester Zagar, Deputy Commissioner Burmeister, and Deputy Clerk Blenski. STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE The Deputy Clerk stated that the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open meeting law. APPROVAL OF MINUTES – October 23, 2018 Commissioner Madden moved to approve. Commissioner Kubacki seconded; motion carried. NEW BUSINESS Deputy Commissioner’s Update - Current Condition of Lake/Bay, Water Levels, Plant Growth, Fish and Wildlife Deputy Commissioner Greg Burmeister reported the following: It has been very quiet since the last quarterly meeting. There has been unsafe ice due to weather conditions for the last two months. Very little activity in general. The water level is typical. Several eagles have been seen on the ice. Authorization for Chairperson to Apply for Chemical Aquatic Plant Control Permit Mr. Zagar stated application for the DNR permit is done annually. Commissioner Kubacki moved to approve. Commissioner Engelhardt seconded; motion carried. ADJOURNMENT Commissioner Engelhardt moved to adjourn at 5:59 p.m. Commissioner Madden seconded; motion carried.
