Packet Page 1 Unapproved CITY OF MUSKEGO COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MINUTES February 26, 2019 5:45 PM City Hall, W182 S8200 Racine Avenue CALL TO ORDER Mayor Chiaverotti called the meeting to order at 6:03 p.m. ROLL CALL Present: Alderpersons Wolfe, Kapusta, Engelhardt, Kubacki and Madden. Also present: City Attorney Warchol, Planning Manager Trzebiatowski, Assistant Deputy Clerk Chavie and Deputy Clerk Blenski. STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE The Assistant Deputy Clerk stated the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open meeting law. APPROVAL OF MINUTES – November 27, 2018 Alderperson Madden moved to approve. Alderperson Kubacki seconded; motion carried. NEW BUSINESS Parkland Towne Center Update Alicia Alexander was present representing the developer. She noted the following: The restaurant (Outside Inn with Bacon) plans to open in April They continue to market Parcel B. Several tenants may actually occupy that space vs. one 30,000 square foot user. There is a 1,700 square foot retail area left to lease. It is anticipated that once the restaurant opens, the development will experience additional traffic and interest. There is a 30-day delay to finishing Apartment No. 2 because of the weather. It should be completed by June 1. Apartment No. 1 is 100% occupied. Footings for the Clubhouse were put in before winter; construction should being in April depending on how much frost is in the ground. Construction of Apartment No. 3 can begin once Apartment No. 2 is stabilized and the developer can obtain a loan. The final grant money cannot be released until the footings and foundation are done for Parcel B. Mayor Chiaverotti thanked Ms. Alexander for the update. ADJOURNMENT Alderperson Wolfe made a motion to adjourn at 6:15 p.m. Alderperson Madden seconded; motion carried.
